In order to draw this series of posters, I read the story of the hero Liu Wenxue repeatedly, and I was immersed in the hero's story every day.

Liu Wenxue (February 1945 to November 18, 1959) was born in a poor peasant family in Shuangjiang Village, Qujia Township, Hechuan District, Chongqing City. The landlord and his predecessors oppressed him until he was liberated. In September 1952, Liu Wenxue entered Shuangjiang Village Primary School (changed to Shuangjiang Village Primary School in 1964). In the autumn of 1957, he joined the Chinese Youth Vanguard. On the evening of November 18, 1959, in order to protect the collective interests, Liu Xiaoyuan was killed at the age of 14. On September 14, 2009, he was appointed as one of the 100 outstanding figures since the founding of New China.

"Qu Jiang is long, the red star shines, the young hero Liu Wenxue..." This song is about Liu Wenxue, the first young hero in New China.

Shortly after the incident, the murderer Wang Rongxue fell into the French Open. On November 21, 1959, Wang Rongxue wrote a confession; on November 22, the Hechuan County Public Security Bureau issued an arrest warrant to arrest him; in 1960, the Hechuan County People's Court The criminal Wang Rongxue was sentenced to death according to law and executed on the spot.

After Liu Wenxue's sacrifice, a memorial service for 10,000 people was held in Hechuan Stadium. Liu Wenxue's deeds and names were spread throughout China's north and south. When I was in elementary school, there was a wave of the Great Leap Forward across China. There are slogans of three red flags everywhere.

The "Great Leap Forward" movement took place between 1958 and 1960. It was a very "left" line movement launched by the Communist Party of China throughout the country. It was the third plenary session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and after that, it constantly criticized the anti-advancing in 1956. It was launched on the basis of the product of the "Left" leaning into it.

In May 1958, two months after his father's trouble, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China convened the second meeting of the Eighth National Congress. The meeting formally adopted the general line of "spirit, striving upstream, and building socialism quickly and economically."

Although the starting point of this general route is to change my country's economic and cultural backwardness as soon as possible, it is impossible to quickly change my country's economic and cultural backwardness because of ignoring the objective economic laws.

After the general line was proposed, the party launched the "Great Leap Forward" movement.

The "Great Leap Forward" movement pursues a high speed in production development and aims to achieve high industrial and agricultural production targets. The output of major industrial and agricultural products is required to increase exponentially, several times, and even tens of times. For example, it is proposed that steel production doubled in 1958 from 1957, from 3.35 million tons to 10.7 million tons, and in 1959 it doubled from 1958, from 10.7 million tons to 30 million tons. The inevitable achievement of those unrealistically high targets will inevitably lead to the prevalence of blind command and the proliferation of grandiose winds, and the masses of the people will encounter serious difficulties in their lives. All ordinary families have encountered unprecedented difficulties, not to mention that my family has nothing left.

At that time, I was in charge of the blackboard newspaper in the elementary school. I often copied some comics published in the newspapers praising the "Great Leap Forward" to the blackboard newspaper. I am still a child, where would I understand that "Great Leap Forward" is "advancing blindly"?

Between November 1958 and July 1959, Mao Zedong and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China tried hard to correct the mistakes they had noticed, and adopted a series of measures to lower the industrial and agricultural production indicators in 1959. The Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee erroneously criticized the so-called Peng Dehuai right-wing anti-Party group, and subsequently the whole party launched an "anti-right-wing" struggle, interrupting efforts to correct errors, while the "Left" errors within the party developed even more.

However, in 1960, it was proposed to maintain the Great Leap Forward for a long time, continue to require industrial and agricultural production to reach unrealistically high targets, unfairly accuse the compressed index in the first half of 1959, and blindly emphasized opposition to right-wing and must be motivated.

In the context of emergency food supplies in various regions, infrastructure investment and infrastructure projects are increasing, and the annual steel production target is not less than one ton. High indicators, blind orders and wild winds are rampant again. Since the "Great Leap Forward" in 1958, the three-year "Left" has tilted towards the country, resulting in a serious imbalance in the proportion of the national economy and serious economic difficulties for the country.

Even more shocking is that the blackboard newspaper in the alley is covered with reactionary slogan "Meet Mao and Liu".

From small to large, I lived in such a political and social environment.

In August, the Beidaihe meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China determined a batch of high indicators for industrial and agricultural production, and proposed to double steel production in 1958 as an important step to achieve the "Great Leap Forward", reaching 10.7 million tons.

At the end of 1958, in order to meet Mao Zedong's wishes, the country doubled its steel output compared with 1957, and put forward the slogan "steel as the key link", calling on all people to make steel. However, because the technology does not meet the specifications, only a large amount of scrap iron is smelted, causing great waste. Steelmaking requires iron ore, coke, fuel and other materials. Due to the lack of iron ore, the whole people did not go to the fields for farming, and all went up the mountain to mine, which greatly reduced the grain output. They also threw the iron at home into the fire, but smelted it into iron knots. Due to insufficient fuel, he had to go up the mountain to cut down forests and cut down the green mountains one after another, causing a natural disaster in the future. In fact, these natural disasters are artificial. It is rumored that most of the green litchi trees hanging in Zengcheng were cut down during this robbery. Moreover, the building materials for the construction of the blast furnace were inadequate, and even the cultural relics buildings were demolished and bricks were taken to build the furnace. They also said that the cultural relics should also serve steelmaking.

In the movement, "Left" leaning errors, mainly marked by high indicators, blind command, grandiose winds and communist winds, were severely spread. From the first Zhengzhou meeting in November 1958 to the early stage of the Lushan meeting in July 1959, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China tried to lead the entire party to correct the errors it had already detected. However, in the later period of the Lushan Conference, due to the wrong criticism of Peng Dehuai and others, the "anti-rightist" struggle was carried out in the whole party, which extended the error for a longer period of time and caused great losses to the national economy.

As soon as I complained, my mother would call me lazy. She also often said: "To be a man, you have to suffer. To become rich, you must learn to endure hardships."

Maybe this is the mother's desire, she wants to train a child who dares to endure suffering, and I do all the queue work at home. At that time, queue up to buy anything. Go to the vegetable market to buy food, you can even line up in less than two or three o'clock. In order to occupy a place in advance, many Shanghai residents queued up all night and put a vegetable basket or even a brick in advance. I was hired by a neighbor as a queuing person. Since then, I have pinned all my ideals on communism. In communism, there is no need to line up.

I am also responsible for the purchase business at home. Buy oil, salt, soy sauce and vinegar, buy briquettes and firewood, I have to do all the work. A child in his tens is also responsible for making stoves, pouring garbage, soaking water, mopping floors, catching mice, killing cockroaches, scalding bed bugs and shooting flies. Even the children in the neighbor's house are left to me.

My mother is stupid, and since then, my mother has never defeated me.

I love my mother, pity her, sympathize with her, and admire her from the bottom of my heart. She does not have much cultural knowledge, but she has perseverance. She is just one of many Shanghai citizens.

The mother can't bear the father's fault. In that era, politics was above everything else. Everyone only believes in the party and the people's government. The party's call is the most important order. Even your closest relatives must not be separated from the party. If someone offends the party, the family will have to draw a line.

Unfortunately, our party is making mistakes, and our people are making mistakes. A wrong era has distorted society and distorted human souls. My childhood went through this test of transformation. The sun is always beautiful, and the twisted saplings still grow towards the sun.
