Today's
younger generation is not only the largest in history, but also the most
connected. Worldwide, youth are almost twice as connected online as the general
population average. In developed countries, almost all young people use the
Internet, while in least developed countries, young people are three times more
likely to be online than the overall population average. In China, even with
the strictest controls on the Internet, those who circumvent the firewall can
still see and hear the outside world. Even domestic WeChat and Douyin will
break out amazing news from time to time.
These
young people gathered in the small hotel "Juyi Hall" are such a group
of young people who want to learn about history and society.
Little
Kong Ming, Li Si, San Pang, Wang Wu, Nan Yangsheng, and Cheng Yenan are
discussing the events and people of the Cultural Revolution. Combined with the
current situation in China, what they talked about most was Mao Zedong's
last-ditch effort during the Cultural Revolution: criticizing Deng and fighting
back against the right-leaning style of overturning verdicts. Deng Xiaoping
also became the central figure of the biggest issue.
The
eloquent and knowledgeable little Kong Ming and Li Si went straight to the
point, and he said:
In the
second half of 1975, Mao Zedong was seriously ill, and his contact with the
outside world could only be communicated by his nephew Mao Yuanxin.
On
November 2, 1975, Mao Yuanxin told Mao Zedong that Deng Xiaoping "seldom
talked about the achievements of the Cultural Revolution, and rarely criticized
Liu Shaoqi's revisionist line."
What
Mao Zedong was most worried about was overturning the verdict during the
Cultural Revolution. He said dissatisfiedly, "Some comrades, mainly old
comrades, have two attitudes towards the Cultural Revolution. One is
dissatisfaction, and the other is to settle accounts."
Because
Mao Yuanxin, Mao Zedong's nephew and liaison officer, reported to Mao Zedong
many times, saying that Deng Xiaoping "seldom talked about the
achievements of the Cultural Revolution" and that Deng Xiaoping's
"three instructions are the key link... In fact, there is only one
instruction left, namely Production has gone up", Mao Zedong decided in
November to solve Deng Xiaoping's so-called "rightist" problem; when
criticizing Deng Xiaoping, he said: "The three directives are the key
link. Stability and unity do not mean the absence of class struggle. The rest
are eyes", "Xiaoping... this person does not grasp class struggle,
and has never mentioned this outline. He is still a white cat or a black cat,
regardless of imperialism or Marxism"; Mao Zedong also pointed out that
"some people always want to If you are dissatisfied with this Cultural
Revolution, you will always be blamed for the Cultural Revolution, and you will
always have to reverse the verdict.”
However,
Mao Zedong still told Mao Yuanxin that it was not to defeat Deng Xiaoping, but
to correct mistakes.
On
November 2, Mao Yuanxin once again told Mao Zedong that Deng Xiaoping never
talked about the Cultural Revolution, but was actually dissatisfied with the
Cultural Revolution. Mao Zedong expressed the hope that Mao Yuanxin would help
Deng Xiaoping improve. In the afternoon of the same day, Mao Yuanxin called
Deng Xiaoping and others to hold a meeting. At the meeting, Mao Yuanxin
criticized Deng Xiaoping’s wrong line in presiding over the work of the Central
Committee. Deng Xiaoping retorted that he had presided over the work of the
Central Committee for more than three months. Practice has proved that the
situation in the country has improved. Deng Xiaoping also said I am following
Chairman Mao's instructions to start production. After the meeting, Mao Zedong
listened to Mao Yuanxin's report and said that he would hold another meeting to
help Deng Xiaoping.
On
November 3, Mao Zedong approved the letter written by Liu Bing, Deputy
Secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University, reflecting various
problems with Party Secretary Chi Qun and Deputy Secretary Xie Jingyi. Write it
to me, and it must be reposted by Xiaoping. Xiaoping is partial to Liu Bing.
The issues involved in Tsinghua University are not isolated, but a reflection
of the current struggle between the two lines." Wu De presided over the
briefing.
On
November 4, Mao Yuanxin convened a meeting of eight people. At the meeting,
Deng Xiaoping continued not to mention the Cultural Revolution, and emphasized
that it was correct to engage in production and achieve stability and unity.
After Mao Yuanxin reported the situation to Mao Zedong. Mao Zedong was even more
dissatisfied with Deng Xiaoping. He decided to expand the meeting, continue to
have people enlighten Deng Xiaoping, and asked Deng Xiaoping to write a review.
Mao
Yuanxin expanded the scale of Deng Xiaoping's enlightenment meeting. But Deng
Xiaoping still did not admit that the Cultural Revolution was correct at the
meeting. After the meeting, Deng Xiaoping wrote a written inspection, but only
reviewed the shortcomings and mistakes in specific work, and did not talk about
the Cultural Revolution.
Mao Zedong
was very angry about this, thinking that Deng Xiaoping belonged to the petty
bourgeoisie and was a capitalist roader in the party.
Mao
Zedong decided to no longer let Deng Xiaoping preside over the daily work of
the central government. In addition, Mao Zedong instructed Mao Yuanxin to
convene a Politburo meeting to continue to enlighten Deng Xiaoping, and the
Politburo meeting could be presided over by Deng Xiaoping. However, Deng
Xiaoping was right not to talk about the Cultural Revolution at the Politburo
meeting. Deng Xiaoping wrote another written inspection with almost the same
content.
At this
time, Liu Bing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University,
wrote to Mao Zedong through Deng Xiaoping to report the problem. Mao Zedong
believed that Liu Bing's letter contained dissatisfaction with the Cultural
Revolution, and Deng Xiaoping's transfer of Liu Bing's letter did show that he
was also dissatisfied with the Cultural Revolution.
On
November 20, 1975, the Politburo held a meeting to discuss the evaluation of
the "Cultural Revolution". Mao Zedong wanted to give Deng Xiaoping
one last chance, and proposed that Deng Xiaoping preside over the formulation
of a Politburo resolution evaluating the Cultural Revolution. And form a document
affirming the Cultural Revolution. Lao Mao said that the Cultural Revolution
scored seven points, and three points were not enough.
But
Deng Xiaoping did not accept Mao Zedong's suggestion. Deng Xiaoping said that
it was inappropriate for him to preside over the resolution. He was a native of
Taohuayuan. Deng Xiaoping used his strategy of keeping a low profile and
skillfully responded with Tao Yuanming's words, and declined Mao Zedong.
Deng
Xiaoping's evasion and resignation made Mao Zedong very disappointed and very
angry. Mao Zedong decided to launch a campaign to fight back against the
right-leaning overturning the verdict, and held a greeting meeting before
launching the campaign to warn those leading cadres who were resistant to the
Cultural Revolution.
On
November 24, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a
"Greeting Conference". Deng Xiaoping read out the "Key Points of
Greetings Speech" reviewed by Mao Zedong, and officially characterized it
as "this is a rightist trend of overturning the verdict." Those who
attended the meeting were largely silent. Mao Zedong was dissatisfied with the
greeting meeting, so he decided to launch a nationwide campaign to counter the
right-leaning reversal of verdicts.
On
November 26, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the
"Key Points of Greetings" to the whole country. The main points of
Mao Zedong's speech at that time were: "The problems in Tsinghua
University are by no means isolated. They are the result of the current struggle
between two classes, two roads, and two lines. Reflect. This is a right-leaning
trend of overturning verdicts.”
Deng
Xiaoping was subsequently suspended from most of his jobs.
On
November 26, the CCP officially issued a notice to "counter-attack the
right-leaning style of overturning verdicts." The study began in various
places, which marked the official start of the campaign of "Combating the
Right Deviation and Overturning Verdicts".
Mao
Zedong immediately decided to stop letting Deng Xiaoping take charge of the
overall work and let him "specialize in foreign affairs."
At this
point, Mao Zedong's idea of Deng Xiaoping's succession was finally shattered, and a
campaign of "criticizing Deng and countering the rightist overturning
the verdict" was launched. It is imperative that Deng Xiaoping be defeated
for the third time.
The
party in the small hotel is over, the most unfortunate life is to live in
unfortunate memories, the most unscientific life is to live in lies full of bad
habits, the least ideal life is to live in troubled times, the most desperate
life is to bury own beliefs. Nan Yangsheng fell into deep contemplation: the
best years that people claim are actually the most painful, and it was only
when he recalled afterwards that he decided to give up.
Nan
Yangsheng said to his sister Nan Liwa: In the hourglass of memories, small
things may be taken away and forgotten, and important scenes often linger and
are difficult to cross. Looking down on the past, the ups and downs of the
years, up to now, it is just a fleeting moment, the past is just a cloud of
smoke. In the end, they will disappear in thin air under the guidance of the
old man.
Group psychological exploration novel (Shenyang)
回复删除Today is like a crow gathering, and tomorrow will disappear like a beast. This is the case for hooligans, politicians, and ignorance people. Today, you can mix together, and will run counter to the benefit tomorrow. I explore the novels of group psychology, hoping that more people in the world can wake up from nightmares.
