螳螂(学名:Mantodea)亦称刀螂，无脊椎动物，属肉食性昆虫。在古希腊，人们将螳螂视为先知，因螳螂前臂举起的样子像祈祷的少女，所以又称祷告虫。螳螂是植物害虫的重要天敌。
