Emperor Shaktian
How many people can see
through the path of life? How many people can hold hands with you? Suddenly
looking back, everything was empty. Agudengba, who came from the snowy land,
traveled to India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Myanmar on a donkey.
He began to reflect on the meaning of life: some people study the relationship
between man and nature, and some explore the relationship between man and
nature. Some people also pay attention to the relationship between human beings
and matter or spirit. Therefore, the relationship between human beings and gods
aroused Agudenba’s special interest. Did gods create humans, or did humans
create gods? Agudenba fell into deep thought.
During his long-distance travel
and investigation, Agudumba discovered a strange phenomenon. It turned out that
there once was a mysterious and powerful race in the world, and that was the
Aryans.
Agudemba and his donkey came
to the foot of the Bodhi tree by the river. He began to tell the donkey the
legend of the Thunder God Emperor Shakten:
Shakti was the first god of
the nomadic Aryans who invaded ancient India. Known as the God of Thunder, he
brought rain to dry pastures. He is the god of fertility and a friend of
mankind. Shakti created the universe with his hammer. He slew dragons, he slew
giants, he slew the enemies of mankind.
Agudengba told the donkey
Mahu the legend of Emperor Shakti's victory over the drought demon.
According to the myths and
legends of the Indian Veda, the Drought Demon Vritra is an evil dragon. The
Drought Demon keeps many "cloud cows" in his castle on the mountain.
Plundered.
The Drought Demon imprisoned
many "cloud cows". After a hot summer, the earth was dry and longed
for rain. Rivers have become shallower and many mountain streams have dried up.
Weary and exhausted, men and beasts await rescue in the oppressive heat. They
also faced the threat of famine. All this is the fault of the abominable Drought
Demon.
Human beings could not deal
with the ferocious drought demon, so they begged the glorious gods to protect
them. They prayed to heaven:
Who can have mercy on us?
Who can save us?
Who can help us out of trouble?
Let's all discuss it,
I can only ask God for mercy.
O glorious gods
Only your great compassion can save people.
Our hearts are like birds,
I flap my wings and fly to you.
At this time, there were
heavy dark clouds in the sky, strong winds howling, lightning flashing, thunder
roaring; and then came the heavy rain. The mountains and rivers flooded again,
and the rivers swelled.
It turned out that Emperor
Shakti heard the prayers of mankind, stood up bravely, and expressed his
willingness to fight for mankind.
His mother was the earth goddess
Prizivi. When he was born, his body was covered with golden light. Therefore,
people called him the "golden child".
When the golden child Sakten
grew up, he became the king of the three realms: heaven, earth and the
underworld. It was Shakti who created the air that gave life to humans and
nature. He also gave humans power. All the gods respected him and obeyed his
orders. He symbolizes immortality.
The priests knew that Shakti
was going to kill the drought demon Vritra for the people. The priests began to
pray for Shakti. Shakti was inspired by the praises of the priests. Shakti
drank the nectar from heaven, and he Gained strength from human sacrifices.
Then Shakti took up his
"thunder stone", which was made by the celestial craftsman Tevahitri.
He set off on an expedition.
Shakti's attendants were the
young Marut brothers, gods of storm thunder and thunder. The Marut brothers
tied their two beloved sorrel horses to their golden cart. They went on an
expedition with Emperor Shakti.
In front of the Marut
brothers' cars, two spotted deer and a fast-footed, never tired red deer were
tied, with the red deer leading the way. The two brothers were tall, strong and
brave. They had golden helmets on their heads, golden breastplates on their
chests, beautiful skins on their shoulders, and gold bracelets on their arms
and feet.
The Marut brothers always
carried bows, arrows, axes, and gleaming spears. Everyone is afraid of them
because they often come with their "lightning spears" and use them to
kill cattle. They also often split open "cloud rocks" and send
showers of rain to the earth.
When Shakti drove his
chariot to attack the Drought Demon, the Marut brothers galloped behind him,
shouting loudly. The brothers sent down a shower of rain and then rushed after the
imprisoned Cloud Bulls.
The Drought Demon Vritla
roared when he saw Lord Shakti coming. The roar shook the heavens and the gods
fled. Only the earth goddess Prithvi was worried about her golden child Lord
Shakti.
But Shakti bravely charged
forward with the roaring Marut brothers.
The Drought Demon thought
that it was invulnerable to swords and guns, but after Emperor Shakti threw his
weapon "Thunder Stone", he immediately discovered that the evil
dragon's sinuous body had been injured.
Emperor Shakti killed the
evil dragon Drought Demon, and the evil dragon lay bent before him. At this
time, the flood broke out and washed away the body of the Drought Demon Dragon
into the eternally dark sea.
Emperor Shakten exclaimed
very happily:
O flying Marut brothers,
We have killed Flitra!
Kill the drought demon with your own strength,
What a great cause we do!
I send thunderbolts from heaven,
The rain then gurgled down.
We are Aryan gods,
We bless the Aryans,
Aryan will be powerful in the world.
Agudengba said to the donkey
Mahu:
Di Zetian broke the wall of
the Drought Demon's castle and released the "cloud cows" locked in
the castle. These cloud cows turned into wind and rain, bringing vitality to
nature. The dry pastures turned green again, and the weeds grew quickly. The
rice planted by the people also had a good harvest.
People on earth who revere
the gods are very happy about Di Zetian and believe that he is the protector of
the Aryans, and the Aryans have become the most powerful race in the world.
The Aryan priest then sang a
hymn in praise of Shakti: "The Aryan God":

Taking the legendary wise Agu Demba as the protagonist, I started to create the Chinese-English version of "Snow Land Fable" using the traditional fable creation method that combines poetry and prose. Writing fables makes me feel like a child again. Studying snowy culture is my prescription to prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
