Masterpieces of other styles also appear in Florence: the Romanesque Basilica of San Miniato, the Gothic Basilica of Santa Croce, the Mannerist works of Giambologna or Bernardo Buontarenti (the Fountain of Neptune and the Boboli Gardens), and masterpieces by 20th-century Italian architects, such as the Santa Maria Novella Station and the Stadio Franchi, designed by Michelschi and Pierre Nervi respectively.
