The family of the God of Destruction
The old donkey told Agudenba how Shiva, the god of destruction, finally
got married to Uma, the reincarnation of his ex-wife Sati, at the request of
Brahma.
Later, Shiva and Uma had two children.
The eldest son is Kumara, the commander-in-chief of the heavenly soldiers
and generals.
Saiganda is the Buddhist protector of the law: Vetuo Bodhisattva. Wei Tuo
Bodhisattva, also known as General Wei and General Wei Tian, was originally the
god of war of Brahmanism. He had six heads and twelve arms, held a bow and
arrow, and rode a peacock. The belief in worshiping Wei Tuo was first popular
in South India, and spread to North India after the fifth century. He was attracted
by Mahayana Buddhism and became the patron saint. He is one of the eight great
generals of the growing heaven in the south, ranking first among the thirty-two
generals under the Four Heavenly Kings.
Not long after Saijantu was born, he defeated the Asura King Doraka and
rescued the biggest crisis in the Three Realms.
Wei Tuo was born intelligent and abandoned worldly desires early. Later
he converted to Buddhism and became a protector of the Dharma. Legend has it
that the lawyer Daoxuan of the Tang Dynasty had a meeting with heavenly beings
and mentioned that there was a general Wei under the Southern Heavenly King,
and he felt that he appeared to protect the law. He was wearing armor, standing
with his palms clasped, and his precious pestle on his arm. From then on,
statues of Wei Tuo Bodhisattva with the body of a heavenly general began to be
erected in Chinese monasteries.
The second son of Shiva and Uma is Ganesha, the god of wisdom, also known
as the Ganesha. He is a god who is proficient in strategy and good at solving
problems. The second son is the commander of a group of minor gods. Ganesha is
also the God of Wisdom in India. This Ganesha also has four arms, but only one
ivory. Only the left one. The right one is for writing the thickest ancient
book in India. This book records the events of ancient times. war.
The old donkey smiled and said to Agudemba: In Indian mythology, the book
is said to be written by the Ganesha. Because there are so many words in this
book, the pen broke. In the end, the Ganesha did not The only option was to
break my right tooth and continue writing.
Shiva still leads an ascetic life on Mount Kailash and becomes the head
of the family with his wife Uma and their two children.
Shiva is the god of destruction in Hinduism. There are many Shiva temples
all over India, and a stone pillar is often enshrined in the temple. The stone
pillar is called "Shiva Linga", which is a symbol of Shiva's
fertility. But in Buddhist literature, Shiva is called "Great Isvara".
The old donkey told Agudengba that Uma is the goddess of the Snow
Mountains and the daughter of the mountain god of the Himalayas. This mountain
god also has a daughter, the goddess of the Ganges. Goddess Ganges is the
sister of Goddess Parvati, but she is also the wife of Shiva.
The old donkey smiled and said to Agudemba: The goddess of the Ganges was
originally the wife of the great god Vishnu. In fact, Vishnu had three wives
before, namely the goddess of eloquence, the goddess of wealth, and the goddess
of Ganges. The three wives started fighting as soon as they got together, which
annoyed Vishnu very much.
Later, he gave the goddess Benzai to Brahma and the goddess Ganges to
Shiva. What he kept was the goddess of wealth.
In fact, Vishnu did not give his wife randomly. The goddess of eloquence
symbolizes wisdom. The created Brahma needs wisdom, so Vishnu gave the goddess
of wisdom to Brahma. Then, Vishnu himself needed wealth to maintain himself, so
he left the treasure to the goddess. So why did the God of Destruction marry
the Goddess Ganges? I don't know.
Agudumba said: Who do you think is the most powerful god in Indian
mythology? The old man said: In my opinion, the most powerful one is the Snow
Mountain Goddess.
The old donkey sang the song "Where is the True Love" composed
by Shiva that year:
People always
ask around:
Where is the
real love in the world?
People also want
to put aside their prejudices,
No more
discrimination and prejudice,
Spread more true
love and care,
This society
will be better.
People long for a
more perfect life,
Toward the best
goal.
Maybe this is a
dream after all,
Society is
filled with an atmosphere of indifference.
Every corner is
filled with the smell of copper,
True love has
long been stripped of power.
In a city with
abundant material resources,
Money can solve
all difficulties.
This society has
gone crazy,
Ignorant people
think it doesn't matter,
Without any
expression of appeal,
Our consciences
have been buried.
The original act
of standing up,
Has become no
longer courageous to move forward,
It's obviously
the right thing to do,
But not
recognized by others.
So it became a
vicious cycle,
It becomes a
constant repetition of sin.
This
indifference has infected society,
Let the stupid
live like zombies,
Without any
expression of emotion,
Spreading so
much hatred that we can’t even count,
Far more than
spreading love,
I can't let
these things happen again.
I will destroy
this old world,
Defeat any devil
or evil deed,
To let true love
return to this society,
Find a soul full
of conscience,
Let people get a
sense of reality,
Live your own
happiness.
