偶在郊外捡到几枚红瓜，取其籽，播种于自家屋顶花园。无意间绿叶盎然，枝蔓缠绕，时值金秋，洁花绽放，花瓣吐絮，异类闲雅。其实红瓜的俗名叫老鼠瓜。红瓜归属葫芦科，约30种，分布于亚洲和非洲热带地区以及墨西哥、古巴等地。
