鸡冠花 为一年草本植物，夏秋季开花，花多为红色，呈鸡冠状，故称鸡冠花。原产印度和亚洲热带，中国南北各地区均有栽培，广布于温暖地区，多生长于炎热而干燥土壤。居家栽培鸡冠花无需太多管理，但需要防止病虫害。
