不能期望自己是收割的人

我们不能期望自己是收割的人，

并采集成熟的金黄稻穗，

除非我们先是播种的人

并以泪水灌溉犁沟。

We must not hope to be mowers,

And to gather the ripe golden ears,

Unless we have first been sowers

And watered the furrows with tears.
