King and
people
Agudengba and his
party came to the Big Cat Country, not long after the Big Cat King officially
ascended the throne. At this time, crow Betty flew to Agudumba: "Dear wise
man, do you want to meet the big Elvis?"
Agudenba smiled: Why
did you suddenly ask me this question?
Crow Betty said: I
just flew over from the Big Cat Palace, and I eavesdropped on the private
conversation between the Big Cat King and his close vassal.
Betty the crow,
flapping her wings, chattered about the conversation between Elvis and the
butler.
Big Elvis asked the
housekeeper: "You have to tell me the truth, do you love me very
much?"
The guardian
replied: "Your Majesty is my master, and I am your obedient slave! How can
I say I love you?"
“If I
ask a question, you have to answer it,” Elvis insisted. “Just tell the truth!”
The guardian then
said: "How much you love your slaves, and how much your slaves love
you!"
"The love
between kings and ministers cannot be the same by chance," Big Elvis
retorted. "A king will inevitably love this minister more and love that
minister less. Therefore, the minister's love for the monarch must also be
more. There are few."
Therefore, the close
minister and guardian suggested to Big Elvis:
"Dear King, can
I accompany you to secretly leave the palace and go for a walk outside the
city? Let's go find some poor people in the city, talk to them, and ask them.
Maybe your question can be answered correctly."
"It couldn't be
better," Elvis agreed. "We'll go tonight."
The crow Betty said
to Agudengba: The close vassal and the big cat king have arrived nearby. If
you'd like, we might as well take this opportunity to meet.
Big Cat King left
the palace, accompanied by his close vassal and guardian. Not far away, they
met Agudengba who was holding a donkey. Crow Betty stood on the donkey's back
and said to Agudengba: Those two people dressed up as ordinary people are Elvis
Presley and his close ministers. Servant.
Agudengba led the
donkey and walked straight ahead without saying hello to the big Elvis or his
bodyguards.
A close minister and
guardian came forward and asked Agudengba: It is getting dark, where are you
going, sir?
Agudemba said: My
donkey was slightly injured, his foot was sprained. He was frightened, do you
hear? The loom in the house in front was too loud.
Big Elvis and his
bodyguard came to that house to see what was going on. They saw the shack where
a poor old woman lived. They stood outside the threshold and looked into the
house, and saw the old woman sitting behind the loom.
The big Elvis stared
at her, and suddenly said in a loud and angry voice: "You useless old
woman! You sit behind the loom all day long and weave, why don't you be quiet
at night?"
The close servant
and guardian then whispered to the big cat: "Your Majesty, please be
quiet. I have something to ask your servant."
The guardian of the
household said to the old woman: "Hey, old woman! Did you hear any
news?"
"Who are you,
disturbing me so late?" the old woman complained, "It's already dark,
why don't you be quiet!"
"Listen to
me!" said the Guardian, "The king of Big Cat City is seriously ill at
the moment. Haven't you heard?"
"I don't worry
about such things." The old woman replied, "Anyway, I am always
hungry and cold, sitting behind the machine weaving. Did I ever rest when the
king was well? Now he is sick. , do I have to worry? Whether he is in good
health or sick, it doesn’t
matter to me anyway!"
After hearing what
she said, the housekeeper said to Big Elvis: "Remember what the old woman
said! Now let's go to the next room and have a look! I heard the noise in that
room."
Big Elvis and his
retainer came to the room that made the sound of grinding teeth. It turned out
that there was a young woman in the room grinding grain with her hands.
"What a
wonderful woman!" Elvis said with sympathy. "This woman has to serve
her husband all day long and grind grain at night. Let's allocate some money
from the treasury to subsidize her."
The close minister
and guardian then said, "Don't speak now. I'll ask this woman
something!"
The guardian shouted
to the woman: "Hey, good little milling lady! Have you heard that the king
of our big cat city is very ill at the moment?"
"Oh, my
God!" the woman cried out, "the king is always taking care of us!
Please God bless him to recover quickly!"
At this time, the
close minister and guardian said to the big cat:
"You blame the
old woman who weaves, and she responds rudely to us; you pity the woman who
grinds corn with her hands, and she pities you."
After the crow Betty
overheard their conversation, she flew to Agudumba and told him everything. :
Agudengba sang a
song "The King and the People" with emotion:
If the monarch is considerate of
the people,
If we are of the same mind, we
will have a clear path.
Like a dome that echoes.
If the king ignores the suffering
of the people,
People's hearts will betray and
curse the imperial court.
It's like a loom making endless
noise.
Love can awaken the other person
to love,
Hate can also arouse hatred in the
other person,
Love and hate in the world come
from the heart.

Writing fableskes me feel like a child again. Studying snowy culture is my prescription to prevent Alzheimer’s di masease.
