正月初五送穷鬼 千家万户抢财神 无知贫富之根源 只求鬼神能开恩 跪拜昏君称圣上 皇恩浩荡救沧生 人穷一生不得志 皆因愚昧不开悟 On the fifth day of the first lunar month, the poor ghosts are sent away; thousands of households vie for the God of Wealth. Ignorance is the root of poverty and wealth; only praying for the gods' mercy. Kneeling before a tyrannical ruler, calling him Emperor; the Emperor's boundless grace saves the people; a person's life is filled with poverty and unfulfilled ambitions, all due to ignorance and lack of enlightenment.
