狐狸骑在老虎背上，在山林里逛来逛去的，非常得意。蛤蟆见到了就嘲笑说：“那只不过是狐假虎威而已。”狐狸可并不在乎。
狐狸对蛤蟆说：“你想试试骑老虎吗？”正当蛤蟆犹豫之际，狡猾的狐狸就逮住了蛤蟆，将可怜的蛤蟆塞进了虎口。
老虎虽然凶残，其实狐狸更为可恶。
Toad riding a tiger
The fox rides
on the back of the tiger and strolls around the mountain, very proud. When Toad
saw it, he ridiculed and said: "That's just a fox and a tiger." The
fox doesn't care.
The fox said
toad: "Do you want to try to ride a tiger?" Just as the toad
hesitated, the sly fox caught the toad and stuffed the poor toad into the
tiger's mouth.
Although the tiger is ferocious, the fox is
actually more abhorrent.
