Pool of the Goddess
The Dawa girl began
to tell the story of the pond.
Once upon a time
there was a famous king named Yesha Hakto, and his capital was called
Xiubabangdi. There is a magnificent temple in the capital city dedicated to
Goddess Koryo, the wife of Shiva. There is a pond called the Pond of the
Goddess in the south of the city.
Girl Dawa pointed
to the pond in front of her and said: During the fourteen days of the Ashada
month every year, many believers from all over the world bathe here.
One day, there was
a young laundromat who called himself Dharbra. He came from the village of
Masdara in Bulav to bathe in this pond.
When he came here,
he happened to meet a girl named Madana Sundari from Sudabata Laundry. She also
came here to bathe in the holy water.
Dabula fell in love
with this girl who was more beautiful than the moonlight at first sight, but
after asking about her name and family background, she went home at a loss.
After the young
washerman returned home, he still couldn't forget the girl. He didn't want tea
or food. He was in a daze all day. When his mother saw him like this, she asked
what was going on. He honestly explained the situation. Tell everything to my
mother. The mother heard this and told her husband Vimala about it. Seeing this
situation, Vimala comforted her son and said:
"Why are you so depressed and worried
about this matter? As long as I tell you in person, Shudabada will definitely
marry his daughter to you. Our family and theirs are of the same family
background, property, and career, and we also know each other. My friend,
what’s the difficulty in discussing this marriage?”
Saying this, Vimala
asked her son to have something to eat to regain his energy, and the next day he
went to Shudabada's house with his son. When Vimala arrived at Shudabhada's
house, she mentioned the couple's marriage to Shudabhada, and Shudabhada
immediately agreed.
Soon, Shudabhada
chose an auspicious day to marry his daughter Madana Sundari to Dabula. Dabula
finally married the beautiful girl he fell in love with at first sight. He was
overjoyed and hurriedly took his new wife home.
Girl Dawa
continued:
One day, Madana
Sundari's brother came to the home of the two people who were living a happy
life. The younger sister excitedly hugged her brother to welcome him, and other
people also welcomed him warmly. After a short rest, the elder brother said to
everyone:
"I came to the
house today on my father's orders to entertain Madana Sundari and her newlywed
husband to the humble residence to participate in the ceremony of the Goddess
of Korea." After hearing this, the family members happily agreed, and
spent the day with a very sumptuous meal Treat this brother-in-law with wine
and food.
Early the next morning,
Dhavola, his wife Madana Sundari and his uncle returned to her husband's house.
Soon the three of them came to Xiubaba City. They saw a magnificent temple of
the Goddess Dharva. Suddenly I felt a surge of confidence, so I said to my wife
and brother-in-law:
"How about it, let's go worship the
supreme god."
But his
brother-in-law thought it was inappropriate and said: "We didn't bring
rich offerings to worship. You can't worship with empty hands."
Seeing that his
brother-in-law disapproved, Dabula said to him: "Then I will go to worship
alone. You guys wait for me outside." Then he went into the temple alone.
Darpura entered the temple and bowed to the
goddess. When he bowed to the goddess who used eighteen strong arms to fight
against demons and with Asura Mahisha pressed under the lotus seat at her feet,
he felt a lot of emotions in his heart. Thoughts of gratitude. he thinks:
"People in the world use various
creatures to worship the goddess. If I want to save these creatures, I will
never use them as offerings. By the way, I can offer my body to the
goddess!"
Thinking like this,
he found a sword in the deserted hall that was offered by an unknown worshiper.
He tied his hair to a bell chain, slashed his neck with the sword, and then
fell to the ground. .
My brother-in-law
waited outside for a long time, but he didn't see Dapo coming out after waiting
around, so he went into the temple to take a look. He found his brother-in-law
lying on the ground with his head missing. He was in a daze and actually picked
up a sword and killed himself.
Madana Sundari saw
that not only her husband had not come out, but her brother was also missing.
She was very worried and went into the temple to find out. She was shocked to
find that her husband and brother were both dead. She couldn't help but scream
and fell to the ground.
"Ah! What on
earth is going on! She is saddened by the unexpected death of two people."
When she was not
victorious, she thought: "This has come to this, and I have no meaning in
living anymore." She decided to give up her life, so she said to the
goddess:
"Goddess, you
are the highest god in charge of happiness, good deeds and sacred laws. You can
occupy half of the status of Lord Shiva. You are also the goddess who protects
women in the world and eliminates sorrow for people. In this case, why did you
take it away? My brother and my husband, let them die? Isn't it too much for
you to treat me who always have faith in you? I want to express my sorrow in
front of you, hoping to get your blessing. Please look down on me. Hear my
prayer! Now I want to leave my suffering body, hoping that under your
protection, they will be my husband and my brother in the next life."
After Madana
Sundari expressed her praises, resentments and wishes to the goddess, she bowed
and worshiped the goddess, then made a ring of creepers and tied the grass ring
to the Ashoka tree. Just when she was about to put the grass ring around her
neck, the goddess's voice suddenly came from the air:
"Young girl, don't seek short-sightedness.
You are still so young and you should not seek death! Your courageous behavior
is really touching. Throw away the rope and put the heads of your husband and
brother on your body. I He will show great kindness to them both and raise them
both to life.”
After hearing this,
Madana Sundari hurriedly threw away the rope and ran to the two corpses. But
due to a moment of confusion, unexpected mistakes were made.
It turned out that
she put her husband's head on her brother's body, and her brother's head on her
husband's body without knowing it. In this way, the two of them were
resurrected without leaving any scars, and stood up again, but their heads and
bodies mismatched each other.
However, the two of
them knew nothing about it and only talked to each other about the
resurrection. After they happily worshiped the goddess, the three of them went
out together.
When Madana Sundari
was walking on the road, she realized that she had the wrong headgear. what
should I do? Now she was really stumped.
Agudenba was
confused: Among these two people who pretended to be wrong about each other,
which one was Madana Sundari’s husband? Can she tell the difference?
Girl Dawa said: At
that time, Madana Sundari asked the wise king for advice. When the wise king
was asked this question, his answer was this:
"Among the
two, the one with your husband's head is actually your husband. The reason is
that the head is the most important part of the human body, and people are
identified by this. You did not install the wrong head, it was a deliberate
test by the goddess. Your mind is playing a trick on you."
After the girl Dawa
told Agudengba this joking love story, she sang a touching love song "Qing
Qing Me Me":
I can’t remember how many dark midnights there were,
I can’t remember how many love songs I sang.
There are always stories of love circulating in life
The theme of the story is often love and affection
Love words are whispered in your ears
I will tell you my deep love
There is a majestic temple in Xiuba Po Bang.
Worshiping Shiva and Goddess Goryeo
There is a goddess pool in the south of the temple city
The goddess tests the young man's loyalty
Also give love back to your true love partner
Qingqing, I don’t have to hide in my arms.
The heavy rain always falls
The rustling leaves are good at singing farewell songs
But no matter how crazy the wet hurricane is
Nor can it blow away the heart-to-heart connection of
true love
