Past glories need not be remembered; honor and disgrace, gain and loss, all have vanished with the wind. Let bygones be bygones, go with the flow. Half a lifetime of trials and tribulations has come to an end; contentment brings happiness, free from attachment. The remaining years are short; a peaceful and stable life is the most precious thing.
