Understand yourself
When
humans and animals coexist, humans will always show off their civilization and
intelligence, look down upon birds and beasts, and even insult them, thinking
that animals are beasts.
In
order to allow animals to understand themselves, Dunjiashu has set up special
courses at his animal research center. Today’s lesson is “What is a beast?”
The
Animal Research Center is set up in Shuiyun Manor, and the owner of Shuiyun
Manor is Dunjiashu.
Dunjiashu
stood under an ancient ginkgo tree, and he set up a screen on the trunk. The
video is controlled by a smart Gossip Cat using a computer.
When
Dun Jiashu explains, some pictures and texts will be displayed on the video,
and the black-necked crane will use its long pointed beak instead of a pointer to
guide.
There
is no formal lecture hall here, and it is not the classroom filled with desks
and chairs that we usually see. In fact, this lecture venue is just a green
space, and the animals listening to the lecture are all sitting or standing on
the lawn.
There
are several natural boulders there, and the cute Bichon Frize Xiao Erbao is
lying on the boulder. Next to it are the tiger cub Tago and the lion cub Manqi.
The students attending the lecture also included pigs, horses, cattle, sheep,
chickens, ducks and geese.
Before
the class started, Dunjiashu first introduced a special guest to the animal
students. He was veterinarian Mr. Doug Tolle.
Dun
Jiashu started the lecture: "Students, let me first ask you a question.
Can any of you tell me: What is a beast?"
Animals,
you look at me, I look at you, no one can answer.
The
little pig Maidu suddenly shook his big ears and shouted: "I know, if it
is not a human, it is a beast!"
Dunjiashu
corrected: "This is an insult to animals and human contempt for animals. Any
animal that does not obey human command is often called a beast by humans. If
you are surrendered by humans, you will be called a domestic animal by them. ,
or contemptuously calling you a beast."
The
animals were in an uproar.
Dunjiashu
waved his hand and said: "Quiet, quiet. Let's listen to Mr. Doug Thor give
us a brief explanation first."
Veterinarian
Mr. Doug Thor cleared his throat and said: "What is a beast? 'Beast' is a
mammal. Mammals have two obvious characteristics: one is homeotherm, that is,
the body temperature is relatively constant; the other is lactation, and the
cubs are They grow up on milk and have fur on their bodies. The English name of
this kind of animal is: Mammal. The pronunciation of 'mother' in many parts of
the world is very similar (Mama, Mammy), which is an international
language."
The
animals laughed. It turns out that humans call us "Mom" when they see
us!
Hen
Ham asked: "Human beings sometimes call us animals, so what is the
difference between animals and animals?"
Veterinarian
Mr. Doug Toll smiled: "Birds are animals with wings, and beasts are
animals with breasts."
Interesting.
The first lesson of today's lecture attracted all the birds and beasts
students.
The
animals happily sang the school song "Understand Yourself":
Knowledge is always
infinite and endless,
We live in the process of
seeking knowledge,
Learn to read yourself
and remember,
This is the first lesson
in human-animal survival.
Ignorant people think
that the sky is round;
Foolish people think that
the earth is flat;
The Creator believes that
regardless of heaven and earth,
The whole world belongs
to the emperor.
In order to compete for
the throne of the emperor,
Human killing is cruel
and ruthless,
Power can make people
disown all their relatives,
Wealth can make people
greedy.
Poor people all over the
world pray to the savior,
It is difficult to escape
famine, war, and pestilence.
Hereditary dignitaries
are all living gods;
Tyrants, corrupt
officials and profiteers become co-owners.
God is watching the good
deeds and evil deeds of humans and animals.
Everything in the world
must have its reward.
Only when you understand
yourself can you open your mind.
Happiness comes naturally
when you see through the world of mortals.
Taking the legendary wise Agu Demba as the protagonist, I started to create the Chinese-English version of "Snow Land Fable" using the traditional fable creation method that combines poetry and prose. Writing fables makes me feel like a child again. Studying snowy culture is my prescription to prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
